Preferred Files:

Please submit us vector-based AI design files that are either outlined or editable so that we may turn your packaging concept into reality. As long as the files are vector-based and editable, we also accept EPS, SVG, and PDF formats.

It is known that certain organizations utilize PSD or CDR files as well. Unfortunately, our packaging wizards find it more difficult to work with these files! Try to avoid utilizing these file types as much as possible, even though you can submit them, as your project might take a little longer and cost more.

Please send an instant message or quick bell to your design team with any questions you may have regarding file formats. We'll respond to you right away.

Colors:

CMYK or Pantone inks will be used to print your box. We advise selecting Pantone printing over CMYK if your company has a distinct color scheme. We are aware from experience that CMYK colors can occasionally print marginally differently on various devices. Your greatest option for achieving universal consistency is Pantone!

What happens if you use RBG colorspace? Well, these are automatically converted to CMYK by our system. Naturally, it is our goal to produce packaging that as nearly matches your original color selections as we can. So that you can be sure of the outcome before printing, we will provide you a digital proof.

Font:

In the file you send us, please list the typefaces you used in your design. Kindly supply your typeface in a different document if your brand employs a special or premium font. We pledge to never divulge, distribute, or use your internal typeface for a different customer as part of our steadfast dedication to protecting our clients' privacy. We have your typeface secrets covered! Furthermore, keep in mind the following important details when including text and line art into your artwork:

  • Text should be at least 8 points in size. While small font sizes might seem great on screen, they might not print effectively.
  • Text should ideally be written in bright colors using no more than one or two inks (C, M, Y, or K).
  • Any panel's artwork registration can differ by up to 1/8 of an inch.
  • Add a minimum of 0.25 inches of bleed to any spots where the graphics surpass the dieline.
  • Lines printed in a dark or solid color should not be any thinner than one point.
  • Verify that every typeface is highlighted or embedded.
  • When feasible, save your designs using the "Adobe PDF/X-1a" preset.

Support Graphics:

Adding impactful graphics to your packaging is a great approach to make it stand out from the competition. Before sending your file to us, please make sure all links are embedded and functional to ensure your visuals turn out perfectly.

You can also distribute your graphics individually in zip files, if that's more your style. Select the option that best suits your squad!

Dieline:

To achieve your dream design, your die lines must hit the mark. Make sure the background of your design extends to the bleed lines and keep your artwork and graphics at least 1/8" from all knives and sheet music.

Designing guidelines is a complicated discipline. If you need help, we are available. With 100% free design support, we can ensure that the style of your final product matches your vision perfectly.

UPCs and barcodes:

It might be unsettling and annoying for your customers to have trouble scanning a barcode. Make sure your barcode images are created in high definition to prevent these problems. Another important consideration is size. An image is easier to scan the larger it is.

Don't worry if you're not sure what the ideal barcode dimensions are. We'll figure out the most visually appealing and functional approach to include it in your design if you send it to us separately.
